Fitzpatricks Cottage is a lovely detached thatched cottage situated in the hamlet of Clough, four miles from the village of Ballacolla in County Laois. This single-storey cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms, consisting of one king-size double and one double with an en-suite shower, along with a bathroom with freestanding bath. The cottage also has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with solid fuel stove. Outside there`s off road parking for three cars and a front gravelled area with furniture. Fitzpatricks Cottage is a convenient base for exploring this part of Ireland.
The village of Ballacolla is situated between the towns of Abbeyleix and Roscrea in County Laois. The village has a shop and pub and is surrounded by rolling green countryside. Just a short drive away is Granston Woods and Lough, as well as a golf course at Rathdowney and the scarecrow festival in Durrow village.
