Jersey holiday cottages
The largest of the Channel Islands is Jersey, whose capital St Helier has become a haven for offshore finance. St Helier is relatively busy and bustling, with some wealthy residents and smart workplaces too. Many visitors prefer the quieter charm of St Aubin, a coastal village with cobbled streets and a good selection of restaurants. The island's best beaches are found on the south of the island, while the north coast is dominated by cliffs. One of the island's most popular attractions is the Durrell Wildlife Park, which breeds endangered species. Other things to see include the Jersey War Tunnels and the Maritime Museum. As far as getting to the island is concerned, Jersey has good connections by air and sea. The island's tourist information office is located beside the bus station in St Helier, close to the ferry terminal.
