There are numerous National Trust properties and picturesque villages to visit in the area and plenty of opportunities for walking cycling horse riding and golf. You can take a ride on the West Somerset Railway or explore the stunning Quantock and Blackdown Hills both Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The beautiful and dramatic scenery of Exmoor can be explored nearby and the property is centrally located for visiting both northern and southern coastlines where you can enjoy such popular seaside towns as Weston-Super-Mare Seaton Lyme Regis and Exmouth.
