Goring-by-Sea, locally known as Goring, is a neighbourhood of the West Sussex town of Worthing as it sits just two miles west of the popular resort. Goring itself offers a modest selection of amenities including two excellent food pubs, a Post Office, a newsagents, a bakery and a choice of takeaways, making it an excellent base for a break by the south coast. This suburb`s main attraction is its pebble and sandy beach which is prime for water sports including kite surfing. The neighbouring town of Worthing benefits from a much wider range of amenities as well as a wonderfully sandy beach and a stunning pier. Other nearby tourist destinations include the fabulous Brighton & Hove and the spectacular cathedral city of Chichester slightly further afield.
