This spacious detached stone house, found at the end of a track, is in a lovely peaceful situation with views of the sea to the west and of the gardens and manor house.
This lovely rural area has sandy beaches, fishing, golf, sailing and boat hire all within easy access. Situated just 5 minutes walk from the beach at Carrick Bay. The pretty Artists' town Kirkudbright, with its art galleries, exhibitions, quirky shops and a variety of restaurants is 6 miles away. Day trips to Barstobrick Visitor Centre, Castle Douglas, Galloway Wildlife Conversation Park, Kirkcudbright and Creetown Gemrock Museum, Newton Stewart provide activities for all the family.
The accommodation offers THREE bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin and 1 family room with double and single bed. Large play room with sleeping gallery above (4 children's beds), Bathroom and shower room located on the ground floor. Dining room: with seating, open fire, TV, Freesat and DVD. Adjoining sun room with additional table and chairs. Kitchen: with cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and washing machine.
Outside: large garden.
Amenities: Electric, central heating and logs included. Regret no smoking. 2 dogs welcome. Please note: dogs to be kept under strict control as sheep are nearby.
Additional info: bed linen and towels available to hire at cost of £5 per set per person per week. Property sleeps a maximum of 6 adults plus 5 children and a baby. Short breaks are charged as follows: 3 & 4 nights at 75% of the full weekly rates, 5 & 6 nights will be the full weekly rate. 15% discount for parties of 4 or less during off peak weeks. Arrival: 4pm.
