Visit the city of Cambridge with its architectural university buildings museums and gardens and independent shops cafes and restaurants as is the city of Ely known for its magnificent cathedral. Those that like a flutter or even just the spectacle will enjoy the races at Newmarket and the Imperial War Museum in Duxford is one of the most popular attractions in the region. The National Trust property of Anglesey Abbey is within walking distance of the property renowned for its snowdrops in Spring or the spectacular winter lights walk throughout the Autumn. Designed by the owners and decorated in stylish neutral tones to create a beautiful and sophisticated home from home. From its impressive vaulted ceiling and stone floorings to the little details such as movement sensing lighting in the bathroom this property will provide a fantastic base for adults and older children to enjoy in comfort. Guests enter via the entrance hall which will lead to the contemporary kitchen/breakfast room with vaulted ceiling and large island creating useful breakfast bar. Those wishing to cook up a storm will find the contemporary kitchen well-equipped with two electric ovens and a hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge/diner also features a high vaulted ceiling giving a light and airy feel but for those colder nights a cosy atmosphere can easily be created with the wood burner. There is a dining table ideal for any celebratory meal and a sofa and armchairs to relax in front of the TV/DVD. The corner bi-folding doors allow the lounge and patio area to become one entertaining area and provide a wonderful cooling breeze through the warmer months.
