Nestled amongst a handful of charming thatched cottages on a quiet passageway this cottage oozes peace and tranquillity. Its just a stones throw from the small seaside resort where the sand gently slopes into the water and paddling swimming and boating can be enjoyed. On the seafront you ll find a variety of eateries with stunning sea views plus traditional seaside entertainments including amusements and 18-hole crazy golf. Shanklin Chine provides an attractive route from the old village to the beach and is well worth a visit. The town has plenty of amenities including a train down to Ryde where you can travel onwards to the mainland. Two steps up to the kitchen you ll find everything you need during your stay including an electric oven and gas hob microwave and fridge; a freezer washing machine and tumble dryer are in a separate outbuilding. Put your feet up in the lounge area and curl up on the comfortable sofas in front of the TV/DVD. Theres a separate dining area with seating for four perfect for a family dinner or two during your stay. A fairly steep staircase leads to two charming bedrooms - one double which has been decorated in nautical decor and one twin - plus a bathroom with a handheld shower over the bath and a WC. The cottage has a small enclosed gravelled courtyard garden with outdoor furniture providing an excellent spot for al fresco dining or relaxing in the sun. A complimentary car parking permit is provided for one car for the length of your stay by reimbursement; the car park is nearby. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with handheld shower over the bath and WC. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave and fridge. Outbuilding with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. Central heating and electric included. Bed linen included. A selection of board games, puzzles, books and DVD's. A parking permit for one car in the nearby car park for the length of your stay can be reimbursed. Wi Fi included. 1 dog welcome. Pub, shops and beach within walking distance. TV/DVD in lounge. A couple of deep steps lead down from the path with one shallow step up into the entrance door . There is a sloped ceiling in the bathroom and two steps from the dining room to the kitchen.
