Full of charm and character this stone-built cottage is located on land that was once part of the Gibside Estate and which features plenty of green space. There are numerous activities and tourist spots to enjoy nearby including the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne Metro Centre Beamish Museum beautiful coastline the Roman Wall and plenty of Northumbrian castles. There are many coastal and country walks to be taken nearby and plenty of shops restaurants and pubs are situated just a short drive away. The cottage is a single-level property with a rustic lounge/diner greeting visitors on entry. This includes comfortable ample seating in front of a cosy wood burner a TV/DVD radio and a CD player. The dining table seating four guests in style. The well-equipped kitchen includes everything you need to make your holiday escape into a home with its electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer and dishwasher meaning self-catering is taken care of.
