Gable View cottage The Lake District and Cumbria
Gable View is a welcoming wing of the owners` farmhouse on a working farm a mile from Ravenglass. There is a double bedroom with additional z-bed available, and an en-suite shower room. Downstairs is an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is use of a shared small garden, and off road parking for one car. With the National Park, narrow gauge railway and Muncaster Castle all within easy reach, Gable View makes an ideal base for family, friends and walkers alike.
The village of Ravenglass is on the edge of the Lake District National Park, and is a coastal village, once a regular smuggling base. From Ravenglass it is easy to enjoy the National Park, the Ravenglass to Eskdale Railway, Muncaster Castle and the beauty of the surrounding lakes and mountains.
