The village of Nantyglo stands at the head of the Ebbw-Fach valley amid a rugged landscape of typically Welsh countryside. The village is well served with a range of shops traditional pubs and a nearby old-fashioned cinema. The farm includes the Roundhouse Towers which are within the walled grounds and steeped in history relating to the ironworks and industrial unrest. For enthusiastic golfers you can tee off at the highest tee in Great Britain at the West Monmouthshire Golf Club. You can access the Brecon Beacons where you can walk climb bike and canoe at your leisure or take it easy and visit one of the many vibrant market towns including Abergavenny and Crickhowell. And for a traditional family day out you can visit the Blaenavon Heritage Railway and Iron Works Waterfall Country and the National Showcaves Centre for Wales. The middle cottage within the restored terrace step in off the terrace and back in time. The ground floor offers a cleverly divided living space finished with a contemporary twist enhancing the exposed stonework. Perfect for small families or friends getting together the lounge is a place to relax with a comfortable sofa and armchairs that front a smart TV along with a wood burner-effect electric fire. For dining there is a table and chairs for four enjoying views onto the surrounding barns. For the chef amongst you a well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob microwave fridge with ice compartment and dishwasher. And when the day is done climb the solid wooden staircase to the landing where you will find two bedrooms. There is a double bedroom with garden views and an en-suite rainwater shower and WC and a twin room with an en-suite rainwater shower and WC. To the front of the cottage there is a small terrace where you can enjoy the morning sun there is also a communal area with a fire pit within the grounds.
