As one of Yorkshires most popular coastal villages you could easily spend your days here as you enjoy a truly relaxing retreat. However if you wish to explore further afield make your way along the coast to the historically rich town of Whitby just 5.5 miles away and pay a visit to its stunning ruined Abbey or the St Marys Church; storied with a literary history. Step through the stable door to uncover an elegant and stylish cottage offering a homely vibe throughout. The ground floor is home to an open-plan living room made up of the lounge kitchen and dining area. After a bracing walk along the coast take refuge in the cosy lounge as you fire up the traditional wood burner and cosy up on the comfortable sofa in front of the TV. If you manage to resist the temptation of the wonderful eateries around and fancy a spot of home cooking the contemporary kitchen complete with breakfast bar offers everything you ll need to prepare a hearty meal. Make your way up the winding staircase to discover the sophisticated bedroom complete with a sumptuous king-size bed and luxurious soft furnishings. The bathroom next door is a real oasis with its bath and monsoon rain shower overhead; perfect for a long candle-lit soak. The exterior is as equally attractive make the most of your private terrace set in an elevated position above the cottage; a wonderful setting for a spot of al fresco lunch during the warmer months. Whats more you can fire up the chimenea offering plenty of heat so you can enjoy the space long into the evening. An outside space is something of a rarity in the area so take advantage of sitting outside of a morning as you take in the fresh sea air. Please note this cannot accommodate for vehicles larger than a Range Rover . If this is not possible, parking is available at the top of the hill in the council car parks (charges apply)..
