Historic Bodiam Castle Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and Great Dixter House and Gardens are close by too perfect for those looking to soak up a bit of local culture. With a wide range of footpaths and cycle routes on the doorstep this is the perfect base for a couples and families looking to escape it all. The entrance to the cottage leads you into a small hallway where there is space for dropping coats and shoes and a door that leads into the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The well-appointed kitchen area has an electric oven and hob fridge washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine. A circular dining table with four chairs defines the dining area and the lounge area has a comfy sofa armchair Sky TV (basic package) Bluetooth speaker and french doors that overlook the patio area. Stairs lead up to the first floor where there is a double bedroom and a bathroom with a walk-in shower bath and WC. A further set of stairs leads up to the second floor where you will find a second double bedroom with Smart TV. Outside there is a secluded patio area which has a patio table and chairs and charcoal BBQ. Directly opposite the cottage is a large grassy parkland area and childrens playground great for letting the little ones or four-legged friend run around.
