Sark holiday cottages
Fresh air, freedom and sea views are some of the things you'll find in abundance on Sark. The island is small, being only around 3 miles long, which makes it ideal for exploring on foot, by bicycle, or by horse and cart. In fact, the only motorised vehicles allowed on the island are tractors. 2008 was a historic year on Sark as it saw the end of feudal rule on the island which had lasted around 450 years. As with the other Channel Islands, there's a sense of stepping back in time when you visit Sark, with anachronisms not hard to find. The island's prison is thought to be the smallest in the world - it has only two cells!
