Seal Cottage cottage Devon
Seal Cottage is a charming semi-detached cottage with sea views in the village of Mortehoe in North Devon. It can sleep six people in its three bedrooms, two with en-suite bathrooms, and also has one family bathroom. Downstairs there is a kitchen and an open-plan sitting room with dining area. Outside there is an enclosed garden at the rear and a patio space at the front, both with furniture. There is parking available close to the property.
Seal Cottage is a beautifully decorated property with fantastic views and in an ideal location, perfect for friends or a family wanting to experience the joys of North Devon.
Mortehoe boasts spectacular views with its cliff top location sitting just above Woolacombe. Listed in the Doomsday Book, the Museum gives you an insight into Old Morte and tales of smugglers and stranded ships. Fabulous walks along Morte Point, part of the South West Coastal Path, with breathtaking scenery will bring you to hidden sands and into the neighbouring village, Lee. A village store provides all your needs and there are a selection of pub/restaurants offering local produce. Walk down the winding road and stop off at one of the beaches on your way to Woolacombe with its 3-mile stretch of golden sands. Serene in summer and wild and rugged in winter, once you have sampled this beautiful area you will want to return time and time again.
