Leave the car and meander into Visit England-accredited Hardwick Park to stroll around the lake and woodlands and enjoy a coffee. Spend a fun day at the popular Sedgefield Racecourse known for its relaxed welcoming atmosphere and try footgolf at the nearby golf centre both of which are within walking distance. Visit Durham City for the spectacular cathedral castle peaceful river walks shopping and lunch. By car the unique heritage coastline is only 18 miles away while the pretty market town of Barnard Castle is 23 miles away and the open-air Beamish Museum is just over 20 miles away. Upstairs on the first-floor landing is a play area where you can have some fun playing air hockey & table football. The large third bedroom has a king-size bed and pretty dressing table and there is plenty of storage for your things including a wardrobe located on the landing. The bathroom is on this floor with WC and a corner bath to unwind in. Outside to the rear there is a picnic table for al fresco dining and fold-away seating you can use around the garden to enjoy the views. Relax in the hot tub watching the sunsets and gazing up at the stars as you plan your next days adventures. There is secure bike storage available on request and off-road parking for three cars on the drive plus additional parking on the street in front of the house if required.
