DETACHED COTTAGE WITHIN EASY REACH TO THE BEACH - SLEEPS 8+2
The converted barn has been finished to the highest standard and offers a luxury retreat for families and friends alike. Located in a rural setting with resident peacocks but within a short distance of the seaside village of Skipsea that sits within the Yorkshire Wolds, perfect for walking and cycling.
Just a 10-15 minute walk from the sandy beach and is close to the cliffs of the North Sea. For golf enthusiasts, there is a golf course just 30 yards from the property (charges apply). Nearby Hornsea offers a good variety of individual shops, tea rooms and restaurants, whilst the nearby seaside towns of Bridlington and Filey boast long sandy beaches and numerous resort attractions. The Deep Submarium at Hull, Sledmere House and Burton Constable Hall are within 20 miles whilst the shops, cathedral and museum of historic York, the resort town of Scarborough and the North Yorks Moors Steam Railway at Pickering are within an hour’s drive. Leisure facilities: hot tub and sauna. Games room: with pool table, Wii console and Wendy house.
The accommodation has been refurbished to a high standard and offers FOUR bedrooms: 1 large double with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC, 2 twin rooms and 1 further double with separate WC on the ground floor. There is also a king-size sofa bed in the living room to sleep a further 2 guests if required.
Bathroom: with mixer shower over bath and WC. Separate WC downstairs.
Lounge: enjoys flatscreen TV, DVD, Full Sky package, Wii and woodburner. Kitchen / diner: well-equipped, farmhouse style with range cooker, fridge / freezer, dishwasher, microwave and hi-fi with iPod dock. Utility: with washing machine and tumble dryer.
Outside: large enclosed patio with hot tub, seating and BBQ. Care should be taken with small children in the outside spaces.
Amenities: ample off-road parking for 4 cars on the gated, private driveway. Bed linen, towels, electric, central heating and wi-fi included. Regret no smoking. 2 well-behaved dogs welcome.
Additional info: opposite a caravan park and holiday complex and guests are not permitted to use these facilities. A security deposit of £80 will be payable to the owner on arrival.
