Located in the old part of the village of Corfe Mullen, a short drive from Poole and Bournemouth. Poole famed for its suburb of Sandbanks with its golden beach, a playground for the rich and famous and the home of the world renowned super yacht builder 'Sun Seeker'. There are many National Trust properties and gardens worth visiting including Kingston Lacy, Corfe Castle, Hardy's Cottage, Studland Beach and Nature Reserve or why not take a ferry from Poole Quay to Brownsea Island. This unique character property has been thoughtfully restored throughout and offers FOUR bedrooms: 1 with beautiful hand-crafted four-poster double, 1 double, 1 further 4' double with narrow cottage-style stairs to 1 twin bedroom. Please note the twin is set in the eaves of the house and therefore has restricted height.
Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC. Second shower room with WC.
Lounge: with exposed low wooden ceilings and beams, woodburner with supply of logs, flatscreen TV with DVD, video and hi-fi. There is an additional living area / playroom on the second floor, an ideal retreat for children and adults. Dining area: attached to the games room, with ample seating and accessed from the Kitchen. Kitchen: hand-crafted wood units, well-equipped with range cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer / dryer and fitted dining area (seating 5-7 people).
Outside: 1 enclosed garden that was formed as an island with ample seating and 1 large open meadow garden that backs onto river banks (adults and children to take care). Ample seating and BBQ. Guests can watch the free roaming ducks, geese and pot bellied pig, enjoy the deep ponds and river that runs through the mill, which also attracts a wealth of wildlife including herons, kingfishers, woodpeckers, swans and deer.
Amenities: ample off-road parking. Bed linen, electric and central heating included. 4 pets welcome however must be kept under control due to the ducks and geese. No smoking within the property.
