Not far from the Devils Causeway an old Roman road that runs from Hadrians Wall to the River Tweed this area has plenty to appeal for all the family from history buffs to lovers of outdoor pursuits who ll enjoy biking and hiking the coastal and hillside trails. The nearby River Tweed is one of the greatest salmon fishing rivers in the world while the vibrant and historic town of Berwick has plenty to offer visitors - from walks around the old city walls to the Lowry trail named in honour of L. S. Lowry a frequent visitor. With stunning and imposing coastal castles magnificent country houses and unmissable heritage sites like Hadrians Wall all within easy reach of the cottage this is an ideal location for an adventure-packed family holiday. The accommodation has been artfully decorated throughout in a neutral and contemporary style with plenty of attention to detail throughout. The open-plan lounge/dining/kitchen has comfortable seating and a feature electric fireplace while the kitchen area is equipped with a dishwasher and washer/dryer.
