Occupying an ideal location just a stones throw from the Lancashire coast this property offers easy access to Lancaster the Forest of Bowland the Yorkshire Dales the Lake District and Morecombe Bay. A short drive away is the popular seaside destination of Blackpool with its family-friendly attractions including Pleasure Beach Blackpool Zoo Grand Theatre and Winter Gardens as well as the famous Blackpool Illuminations. Those more active can head for a walk or go cycling along the famous Lancaster Canal. This large sprawling lodge is accessed from the road via a long twisting driveway. Enter the single-story property into the entrance hall and move into the spacious cosy lounge. Offering plenty of comfy seating a large Lakeland stone fireplace and mood lighting its a perfect space for relaxing or watching a movie on the large TV. From here head around the corner to the dining room which features a long dining table and seating for everyone - perfect for celebrating a special occasion. The large modern kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and induction hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and breakfast bar seating area. A utility room is just off the kitchen and has storage space along with a sink washing machine and condensing dryer. Off the hall you will find an atrium - an ideal space for sitting and relaxing - and the main bathroom with a shower over bath and WC. Continuing along the hallway you come to four comfy bedrooms: two doubles an adjacent king-size with en suite shower room and WC and a twin room. The twin room has its own access to the atrium. All bedrooms have floor-to-ceiling windows. Outside to the rear is a large patio area with a hot tub and garden furniture for dining alfresco as well as a fire pit with seating. A full-size table tennis table and other indoor and outdoor games make this family home the perfect place for children to play. The lodge is pet-friendly and there is plenty of private parking for up to eight cars.
