There are myriad walking and cycling tracks through charming villages whereas nearby Thetford Forest will suit the more active guest or perhaps enjoy the sights at one of the National Trust properties in the area. A short drive away you will find Bury St Edmunds a pretty market town which offers a wide array of amenities and attractions for all ages including the cathedral and abbey gardens prestigious shopping an award-winning market and Theatre Royal. Further afield lies Suffolks Heritage Coast home of RSPB reserve Minsmere Orford Ness Snape Maltings Shops and Concert Hall as well as the lovely sandy beaches of Walberswick and Southwold.
