The Old Police House cottage Devon
The Old Police House is a terraced cottage in the village of Braunton. The cottage has two double rooms (one with access to the decked area) and a family room upstairs, along with a bathroom. Downstairs, the former cell is now a room with adult bunks and there is also a kitchen with dining area, a utility room and a sitting room. Outside is an enclosed, rear garden area accessed by steps, with a small lawn and a raised decked area with furniture and barbecue and views over the village. Cars can stop to load and unload directly outside the property, and parking is found in residential streets a two minute walk away or in the 24-hour council pay and display car park, just a four minute walk away. The Old Police House is ideally placed for enjoying the beautiful coastline of this area, as well as the walking, cycling, villages and towns of this lovely part of Devon.
Three miles from the beaches and coast of lovely Devon sits the village of Braunton, which has a bistro, pubs, cafes and shops. Visit Saunton Sands beach, tackle the South West Coast Path or try your hand at golfing. Over the estuary, the village of Instow has an attractive quayside which is home to a selection of pubs, as well as a sandy beach which makes a great spot for a family game or picnic taking in the views towards Appledore. Bideford is a thriving town with a selection of amenities, while Barnstaple offers yet more choice. A perfect base for a seaside or country holiday.
