Visit the market town of Diss, with its beautiful 6 acre mere, parkland, play areas, golf, shopping, swimming pool and pubs. Norwich, for culture and cuisine, can be reached within 40 minutes. Other attractions include the quieter rivers of the Southern Broads, Bungay for day boat hire, Banham Zoo, Bressingham Steam Museum and gardens, Pleasurewood Hills and Somerleyton Hall. The coastal resort of Lowestoft for sandy beaches or Southwold and Dunwich can be reached within 40 minutes.
