Set on the fringes of Tisbury this property has access to a great selection of artisan stores as well as those selling essential supplies. For lovers of history the ruins of 14th-century Wardour Castle are well worth a visit as is the market town of Shaftesbury (6 miles) which boasts stunning views across the Blackmore Vale the iconic Gold Hill a town museum and abbey ruins. Slightly further afield are Longleat House and Safari Park The Stourhead Estate and the city of Salisbury home to a copy of the Magna Carta within its spectacular cathedral. A gently sloping private driveway gives access to this detached cottage. A path leads around the side of the house to French doors which open into the striking kitchen. This well-equipped space has an AGA (kept hot throughout the year care to be taken with children) electric hob and oven microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer.
