Situated in the heart of Torquay and surrounded by a vast array of bars and restaurants this quirky harbourside apartment is in the perfect location to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the English Riviera. Famed for its palm-lined promenades sea front gardens and beautiful boats in the marina there is plenty to see on your doorstep or head to one of the many local beaches to top up your tan or enjoy a wide choice of water sports for those feeling a little more adventurous. Other attractions that can be reached on foot include Cockington Village the pier Princess Theatre and the big wheel which appears during the main season for views across Torbay. From the harbour you can take a ferry to Brixham or Dartmouth or jump on the steam train from Paignton to Kingswear. Heading northwards takes you past Hopes Nose to Ansteys cove towards Babbacombe the Cliff Railway Kents Cavern and the Model Village. Other attractions in the area include the city of Plymouth the Barbican Prince Williams Yard with its vast array of bars and eateries on the waters edge Exeter famed for its stunning cathedral shopping and waterfront Paignton Zoo Dartmoor National Park Torre Abbey and Agatha Christies house and beautiful waterside gardens on the River Dart at Greenway. Step inside this wonderful first-floor apartment from a flight of stairs to find yourself in the dining room a lovely spot which has seating for all guests and makes the perfect place to enjoy a sociable meal. Off the dining room is the retro-style kitchen a well-equipped space which also has a handy breakfast table for a morning coffee. This room comprises of an electric oven electric hob dishwasher washing machine Smeg fridge/freezer microwave coffee machine and a TV. Next door to the kitchen is the spacious and nautically themed bathroom featuring a bath shower over bath and a separate shower cubical and WC. The lounge is also located off the dining room and benefits from stunning harbourside views making it a great space to relax with the family on the comfortable sofas in front of the TV and a sound system that you can connect to your phone via Bluetooth and play any music you like. There is a real flame gas fire adding to the ambience on colder evenings. The bedrooms are all themed; the first bedroom is called Silver Lights also located off the dining area and features a king-size bed a TV views of the boats bobbing in the harbour and has a sash window looking through to the decked terrace area. Moving through the hallway from the dining area brings you to bedroom two - Rose Lights - again with a king-size bed and TV. Further down the corridor is the final bedroom - Gold Lights - featuring a king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into 2ft 6 twins on request). The decked balcony area can be reached by stepping up from the living room and going through the door from the lounge. This is the perfect space to enjoy a peaceful drink in the sun admiring the stunning sea views and to watch the world go by below. The large balcony is furnished with tables and chairs so all guests can make the most of this great spot. There is the nearby under cover public car park just 150yds away. Permits are available from the Torbay Council website and entitle you to park in any council car park in the bay. There are also loading bays outside the property.
