You will also be perfectly placed to explore the beautiful South Hams boasting an array of picture postcard villages vibrant towns such as the bustling Totnes and a selection of salubrious coastal destinations such as Salcombe and Dartmouth. As you re so close to the sea take a ferry ride to Brixham or Dartmouth and enjoy these bustling locations renowned for fresh fish and eateries. Other attractions and places of interest in the area include the historic naval city of Plymouth Exeter famed for its stunning cathedral and shopping The Princess Theatre Paignton and Dartmoor Zoo Kents Cavern Dartmouth Steam Railway Torre Abbey and numerous National Trust properties. A must for kids of all ages is the model village and Bygones in Babbacombe only a couple of miles from this accommodation.
