Wavering cottage Dorset and Somerset

Wavering is a beautiful barn conversion resting in Compton Bishop near Axbridge in Somerset. It offers two bedrooms, a double and a single, as well as a family shower room, sleeping a total of three people. Also inside there is an open-plan living area boasting a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area which has a woodburning stove. To the outside there is off-road parking for two cars and a gravelled area with furniture and a barbecue. Wavering is a delightful cottage in a fantastic rural location, perfect for families of three or couples.

A wonderful town resting near the Mendip Hills in Somerset, Axbridge boasts a fascinating history dating back to the 9th century, which can be explored in the 15th century King John`s Hunting Lodge which is now a National Trust museum. Axbridge also has a cinema, a choice of pubs, a shop and a tearoom, as well as hosting events, festivals and carnivals throughout the year. Visit the Mendip Hills with its range of walking paths accompanied by astounding scenery, the Cheddar Reservoir also sits on the outskirts of the village and offers a good range of watersports for a fun-filled day out.
