Whitstable is a truly special seaside town on Kents east coast. Known for its fresh local seafood and home to annual oyster festival the town is rightly popular with those who enjoy eating out and there are a number of local award-winning pubs and restaurants just moments from the cottage. Spend the day exploring the wide range of independent shops and boutiques or enjoy soaking up the sunshine on the gently sloping shingle beach which is a lovely place to enjoy seaside walks and a paddle in the sea or perhaps even have a go at paddleboarding or kayaking at one of the seafront watersports centres. For those looking to venture further afield take a trip to nearby Canterbury for a spot of history and culture. Upon arriving at this cottage guests enter into the welcoming lounge where they will find two inviting sofas as well as a TV/DVD where you can relax in front of a film or your favourite television programme after a busy day at the beach and light the open fire on chilly evenings. From the lounge walk through the hallway into the dining room with a table which comfortably seats six and before heading into the well-equipped kitchen. Here guests will find everything they need to make themselves at home including an electric oven and hob microwave fridge freezer tumble drier and washing machine. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor which offers a shower over bath and WC. Stairs from the hallway lead to the first floor where the propertys three bedrooms can be found: a double a twin and a further double that leads off the twin bedroom. A door from the kitchen leads out to the propertys garden which has a bistro table and chairs for enjoying a morning coffee. There is a gate at the end of the garden allowing rear access via a gravelled drive providing private parking for two cars. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 2 doubles and 1 twin access to the second double is through the twin bedroom. 1 bathroom. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, tumble drier and washing machine. Electric and central heating included. Open Fire (first basket of logs provided). Private parking for 2 cars in the garden at the rear of the property . Regret no pets. Shops and town centre 5 min walk. Beach and Harbour within walking distance. TV and DVD in the lounge.
