Situated in the popular Lake District town of Windermere this property has everything you need for a getaway with the family. The vibrant town of Windermere is on your doorstep and is a great place to enjoy the many cafes pubs and restaurants or browsing the shops. Why not head down to Bowness which is only a short drive/walk away where you can head out onto Lake Windermere and take a tour of the lake via the steamboats or if you prefer to hire some Kayaks and have your own mini-adventures. Also this is a great base for exploring Ambleside Bowness Grizedale Forest lots of National Trust properties and all the Lake District has to offer. Entering this property you immediately enter the hub of the house which is the lounge/diner. Here you can enjoy everything on offer from the wood burner set in front of the two-leather sofas and TV. At the far end of the room is the oak dining table perfect for any meal of the day. Head up a few steps into the compact kitchen with a door leading out to the shared courtyard. In the kitchen are the electric oven and hob microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer. There is a utility room which houses the washing machine and plenty of space for coats and boots to store. Head up to the first floor where you will find the master bedroom with a king-size bed then onto the main bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Next is the second king-size bedroom with an en suite shower room and snug area with a sofa and wall-mounted Smart TV. Head up to the second floor where we have the two remaining double bedrooms. Outside is a shared courtyard with a lockable bike storage area. Parking is permit parking on street (subject to availability) Need to know: 4 bedrooms 2 doubles and 2 king size. 2 bathrooms 1 shower over bath and WC, and 1 en suite shower room with WC. Electric Oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, fridge freezer, and dishwasher. Wood burner (first basket of logs included). Permit parking for two cars. Shared courtyard area at rear with bike storage. Pub, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance.
