Wrexham holiday cottages
Wrexham is the largest town in North Wales, having many great sights and attractions, plus a long list of regular events which are popular with visitors to the area. There's plenty of good child friendly accommodation to be found and it's a great location for a short break. St. Giles Church is one of the seven wonders of Wales and is the last resting place of Elihu Yale, founder of Yale University. The surrounding countryside is spectacular and Chirk Castle built in 1295, set amongst an impressive 500 acres of beautiful grounds, it's a good way to spend a day enjoying Wrexham county. Walkers will enjoy the Clywedog Trail, an 8 mile walk which passes through Minera Lead Mines, Nant Mill Visitor Centre and Bersham Heritage Centre. Wrexham has great shopping, try Eagles Meadow for the big names, or Town Hill and Bank Street for unusual and interesting smaller retailers.
